Geneva’s KYCK Story: Solidifying My Faith at KYCK

November 10, 2025

Having attended KYCK three times, Geneva describes the powerful moments of worship and prayer where the presence of God feels undeniable. Geneva’s KYCK journey has been one of growing trust in Jesus and solidifying her faith.

1. Introduce yourself!
Hi, I’m Geneva from St Clement’s Youth and I’ve been to KYCK 3 times!

2. A takeaway from the weekend?

One thing I took home this year was that through and because of Jesus I am free, and all the chains of my past are broken.

3. What would you say to someone who’s thinking about coming to KYCK next year?

If somebody had never been to KYCK, I would say to them that you can feel the Holy Spirit flooding the room when we sing. You can feel Jesus opening doors you’d never know were there when we pray and the memories are unforgettable and will last forever.

4. What was the funniest thing that’s happened to you at KYCK?

The funniest thing to happen was when we tried to go on a scenic waterfall walk with our church and we got lost because it was SO foggy and a local had to help us

5. How has KYCK encouraged your faith?

I was already a Christian, but KYCK gave me the chance to solidify and really understand my faith. It’s given me a spiritual boost and helped me to me trust Jesus in everything I do. It has also led me to Jesus by showing me a beautiful, Spirit-led community and reminded me of Jesus’ presence with us.
