Brett just recently started as Lead Pastor of Menai Baptist Church. He used to be a Young Adult Pastor at Narwee Baptist Church. As a former PE teacher, he loves football (soccer) and all things sport, food, coffee, music too. But, more than that he loves his wife Victoria, and their 4 kids, Micah (8), Tilly (6), Eve (3) and Reuben (1). Most of all, Brett loves following Jesus. Getting to read and then share the powerful word of God that points to Jesus is one of the things Brett gets most excited about; so he is super keen for Joshua (Take 2) at KYCK 2021.
Pete is married to Katelyn and they have three kids Chloe, Lily and Samuel. Pete has been involved in youth ministry for twenty years and by next year will have two teenagers in his own family! Before ministry, Pete worked several jobs including coaching cricket, athletics (and maths!), lecturing at Sydney University and performing magic professionally. Last year he moved from parish ministry into school ministry and is now the Senior Chaplain at Barker College, a large co-ed Anglican school in Sydney’s north. If there’s ever time to spare, Pete loves to fill it with fishing, running or plotting how he’d fool Penn and Teller.
Danny is the youth and young adults minister at Ann Street Presbyterian in Brisbane. He’s married to Kate, and they have three spunky girls named Adeline, Elsa and Beatrice.
Danny likes baseball – who doesn’t like baseball? He’s been following Jesus since he was 14, when he fully understood that only Jesus could reconnect him to God.
Danny is looking forward to opening Joshua with you, and exploring how we can step out into this world knowing that God is powerful, and that he is good.
